Now that he can get up on the couch he is really enjoying it. This was after a busy afternoon playing with his aunties.
What an expression - needless to say, he was immediately evicted when Rebecca came back to her chair.
Naturally we were eager to show him as soon as he turned 6 months. The first show we entered was in San Marcos on Feb. 14. This is what we saw when we got up that Saturday.
Yep! About 2 inches of snow had fallen overnight. We were not willing to risk IH35 with snow and ice so we went back to bed. The next day was somewhat warmer so we took off and had a safe trip. We heard at the show that there had been a number of accidents on Saturday and at least one judge was in the hospital. I really feel sorry for those poor show organizers. That show barn was icy cold.
The other puppy dog was 11 months old (and beat two older dogs to become winners dog) so its no surprise that Jack didn't win. He behaved really well and looked great. Rebecca observed that I need to show him at a faster gait to really show off his movement.
Here he is a couple of weeks after the show. I particularly like the expression in the second one. Jack has a very intelligent looking gaze when he alerts to something.
